1. Tour Highlights

During this 6-day, 5-night private winter tour of Hokkaido, you will visit several interesting and famous destinations in Hokkaido.

Using a private car and accompanied by our travel companion, you will explore Sapporo, the central city of Hokkaido.

You can fully enjoy winter activities in Niseko, including skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, snow rafting, and snow tubing. If you’ve never skied before, you can take a ski course (optional).

You’ll also visit beautiful and aesthetic spots such as Shirahige Waterfalls, Asahiyama Zoo, Blue Pond, and more.

Throughout the tour, you’ll stay in comfortable 4-star hotels.

4. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: CTS – Otaru

In the morning, you are scheduled to land at Shin Chitose Airport. Our driver and travel companion team will be ready to welcome you at the airport’s Arrival Gate. From Chitose, we will take you to the Otaru area in Hokkaido.

We will make a stop to enjoy some seafood snacks at Sankaku Fish Market.

Sankaku Fish Market in Otaru is a famous and popular seafood market. Located in the center of Otaru, Hokkaido, this market is known for its bustling atmosphere and selection of fresh seafood.

You can find a variety of fresh seafood, including sushi, sashimi, crabs, and fresh fish. The market is renowned for its high-quality local seafood products.

The market has a lively and bustling ambiance, offering an authentic experience of local life and Japanese culinary culture.

After you have lunch at Sankaku Fish Market, we will take you to visit Otaru Canal.

Otaru Canal is one of the most iconic attractions in Otaru, Hokkaido. It is a popular place to visit due to its beauty and historical atmosphere.

Otaru Canal offers an experience that combines historical beauty with a peaceful ambiance, making it a must-visit location when in Otaru.

Not far from Otaru Canal, we will take you to visit the Otaru Music Box Museum.

Otaru Music Box Museum is one of the famous attractions in Otaru, Hokkaido. The museum is renowned for its enchanting collection of music boxes and charming atmosphere.

You will see a wide range of music boxes, the process of making them, and enjoy interactive experiences where you can listen to the music boxes.

After enjoying your tour, we will take you to the hotel for an overnight stay and some rest.

Day 2: Niseko

After breakfast, we will take you to the Niseko Snow Resort area, where you can try a variety of winter activities available at the resort.

You can enjoy activities such as snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, snow rafting, snow tubing, ski lessons, and more.

In the evening, we will return to Otaru for your overnight stay and rest.

Day 3: Otaru – Furano

Make sure to have breakfast before checking out of the hotel.

After checking out, we will head to Furano.

In Furano, you can enjoy the beautiful winter landscape and visit the Furano Cheese Factory.

Furano Cheese Factory is a popular destination in Furano, Hokkaido, Japan, known for its high-quality cheese products and enjoyable visitor experience.

You can observe the cheese-making process, taste some of the best cheeses in Furano, purchase cheese products, and dine at the restaurant offering cheese-based dishes like pizza and pasta at the Furano Cheese Factory.

After visiting the Furano Cheese Factory, we will head to Ningle Terrace.

Ningle Terrace is a popular tourist spot in Furano, Hokkaido, Japan. Located within the Furano resort area, it offers a romantic and magical atmosphere with a row of small wooden houses that function as craft shops and cafes.

Following this, we will take you to check in at one of the hotels in Furano for you to rest.

Day 4: Asahikawa – Sapporo

In the morning, you can have breakfast before checking out of your hotel.

After leaving Furano, we will head to Asahikawa and then to Sapporo.

However, we will first explore Furano, including visiting Shirahige Waterfalls and Blue Pond.

Shirahige Waterfall (Shirahige no Taki) is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Hokkaido, Japan. Located near Biei, this waterfall is renowned for its spectacular scenery and clear blue water.

Blue Pond (Aoi-ike) is a stunning pond located near Biei, Hokkaido, Japan. Known for its bright blue and clear water, Blue Pond is a highly popular tourist destination in the area.

After visiting Blue Pond, we will proceed to Asahikawa to visit Asahiyama Zoo.

Asahiyama Zoo (Asahiyama Dōbutsuen) is one of the most famous zoos in Japan, located in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Known for its unique approach to showcasing animals and providing an educational and entertaining experience for visitors, Asahiyama Zoo is a major tourist destination in Hokkaido.

You can see a variety of animals, such as penguins, polar bears, and more.

After a satisfying day of sightseeing, we will rush to Sapporo. Upon arrival in Sapporo, you can check in at the hotel and rest.

Day 5: Sapporo

You can have breakfast before starting your Sapporo City Tour.

There are several destinations in Sapporo that you can visit, such as Hokkaido Jingu, Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade, Mount Moiwa, and Sapporo Odori Park.

Hokkaido Jingu is the main Shinto shrine in Hokkaido, Japan. Located in Sapporo, this shrine has a rich history and is one of the most important sacred places in Hokkaido. Hokkaido Jingu is a perfect place to experience the tranquility, culture, and natural beauty of Hokkaido. Visiting this shrine offers a deeper understanding of Japanese traditions and history while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere.

Mount Moiwa (Moiwa-yama) is a mountain located near downtown Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. This popular tourist destination offers spectacular views of Sapporo and its surroundings. Visitors can reach the summit of Mount Moiwa using the Moiwa Ropeway, a cable car that travels from the base of the mountain to the middle station. From the middle station, a mini cable car takes visitors to the top, providing beautiful views of the forest and city below.

Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade (Tanukikōji Shōtengai) is one of the oldest and most famous shopping centers in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. This arcade offers a unique shopping experience with a variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. You can purchase local Hokkaido souvenirs, such as chocolates and other treats.

Sapporo Odori Park offers beautiful views of the cityscape and landmarks such as the Sapporo TV Tower. The park provides a pleasant space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

After enjoying your sightseeing, we will return to the hotel for you to rest.

Day 6: Sapporo – CTS

Today is your last day in Hokkaido, Japan. You can relax while waiting for your flight. Our team will take you and your family to the airport 3 hours before your flight.

International Flights

This Tour Doesn't cover International Flights.
You Should book these flight yourself. We recommended flights that arrive around / after noon, as you can only check in to your hotel starting 15:00. If your Flight arrive in the morning, we can arrange half day tour with an additional charge of JPY 50,000 per group

Tour Companion is someone who accompany you tour in Japan. They can be a friends, family members, or even professionals hired to assist during the travel.

Tour Companion will help you with various things such us preparing tickets, taking pictures, booking a restaurant, navigating unfamiliar places, translating from Japanese to your language, and even providing company and making your private tour more enjoyful and joyful.

However Tour Companion may have less detailed information about regions, culture, and history outside Tokyo, as they might not be local to that specific area. Hence the service more cheaper.

What Is A Local Guide Japan?

A local guide in Japan is an individual who is familiar with a specific region or city in Japan and offers their services to tourists or visitors. They have in-depth knowledge of the local culture, history, attractions, and can provide valuable insights and assistance to enhance your travel experience.

They can lead you on guided tours of popular tourist destinations, such as historical sites, temples, shrines, museums, and scenic spots. They provide detailed information, share interesting stories, and help you navigate through the attractions.

Could You Help Us Arrange For An Apartment In Japan?

We can book high quality, repurtable apartment in Japan. However we can't reserve AirBNB accommodations for your safety and comfort during your journey.

Can I Customize This Tour Packages?

Ofcourse you can. We can adjust our current tour plans to match what do you wanna plan in Japan.

Which means we can add or remove some parts in itinerary to make it fit your interest better.

Changes could be things like:

Adding more days to the tour
Opting for public transport on certain days
Changing the hotel ( Upgrade or Downgrade )
Removing some destinations

Do You Offer Airfare Sales?

WISATAJEPANG only offer tour arrangements in Japan. We don't handle airfare sales. However, we will provide recommendations on your plan tour in Japan. We suggest that you procure your air tickets from thrustworthy airline.

Do You Offer Travel Insurance?

WISATAJEPANG is specialist organize private tour in Japan that can arrange land tour during in Japan. We don't provide travel insurance. We recommend that all guest obtain comprehensive travel insurance from a reputable company.

As each individual or couple has unique requirements, we cannot make specific recommendations for insurance companies.

Term And Condition

CANCELATION FEE
1. More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total price.
2. More than 20 days before departure: 50% of the total price.
3. Less than 10 days before departure: 100% of the total price.

ABOUT VISA
1. The Japanese Embassy has full authority to determine the approval or rejection of visa applications. WISATAJEPANG does not have the ability to influence this decision.
2. The Embassy of Japan may request additional documents for visa applications, and the submission of documents does not guarantee visa approval.
3. WISATAJEPANG cannot be held responsible if participants are denied entry or deported by Japanese Immigration, even if they possess a valid visa and appropriate documentation. The final decision regarding entry into Japan lies solely with Immigration authorities and cannot be contested.
4. In the event that a participant is deported from Japan or unable to enter despite holding a valid visa and having fully paid for the Japan tour packages provided by WISATAJEPANG, the payment made cannot be refunded.
5. Visa fees must still be paid, regardless of whether the visa application is approved or rejected by the respective embassy.
6. If an application is rejected after flight tickets and hotel vouchers have been issued prior to visa approval, cancellation fees for the flight tickets and hotel reservations will apply according to the policies of the airline and hotel.
7. If a participant has committed or is found guilty of an offense in Japan leading to deportation and the subsequent inability to continue the tour, WISATAJEPANG will cooperate with the authorities and no refund will be provided for the amount already paid.

Good evening,

My family and I are very pleased with our experience. There were several highly recommended places, all of which were wonderful.

The driver, Akira-san, and especially Mr. Kim, were exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Even though we couldn’t speak Japanese, they were very caring. To our surprise, Mr. Kim could speak Korean, which I can as well, so communication was seamless.

The driver provided many recommendations, even when the weather was unpredictable. We had so much fun throughout this trip. There was a particularly bad snowstorm on our way to Noboribetsu, but it turned into an unforgettable memory.

Thank you for the excellent preparation and for responding quickly to questions, such as regarding luggage arrangements.

In the future, if we explore another area of Japan, we will definitely come back.
