Our adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Sapporo and a drive to the Tokachi Region where we’ll witness award-winning landscape designs and savor locally grown products at Tokachi Millennium Forest. After lunch at the charming soba town of Shintoku, we’ll head to Sahoro Bear Mountain, home to Japan’s top bear reserve where you’ll have the opportunity to get up close to the Higuma Brown Bear on a Jurassic-Park style “safari.” We’ll then move on to Furano, visiting gourmet spots and the Ningle Terrace Artist Village, which boasts a collection of log huts nestled in a beautiful birch forest. Our overnight stay in Furano includes breakfast.

Biei

On Day 2, we’ll begin with a visit to the renowned Tomita Farm flower fields, followed by the captivating Shikisai-no-Oka flower fields, each unique in its own way. In Biei, we’ll explore the patchwork road, the iconic Blue Pond & Shirahige Falls, and a local products market. In the afternoon, we’ll journey on the scenic mountain road of Mt. Tokachidake, where you’ll have the chance to walk at the base of Hokkaido’s deadliest volcano, take a dip in a wild onsen, and spot Ezo-deer & Hokkaido red foxes.
